Literary resolutions....2016.

Have you made your New Years Resolutions? At the top of the list is read more books, of course...well, we hope so anyway!

Here are some literary resolutions made by Sutherland Shire Library staff, who just love reading!

Cook more recipes from all the cookbooks I borrow from the library
~Angela

My literary resolution is to get through my "To-read" list on GoodReads... I like a clean slate :-)
~Dasha

To read more Adult fiction. I also thought that I haven't read anything from our Bolinda ebooks yet and I don't think I have fully utilised Zinio magazines, so I have downloaded 4 the other day and have almost read through Good Health January 2016.
~Ali

My previous years resolutions have been to read more outside my genre of choice....this year I'm going to allow myself to indulge in a good fantasy/sci fi in between every other book....I might find I get through more books that way!
~Jacinta

I have made so many resolutions in the past (most of them have died an early death) but I have never made  a serious 'Literary resolution' before. So I'm up for the challenge in 2016... to read at least 1 book a week ,no perhaps a month, now that can't be hard!
~ Penny

I was looking at how to read more and one way method that was suggested was to read 20 pages a day. This is the article and it explains it far more eloquently than I ever could.

Now to just convince myself to get up 30 minutes earlier every day.

To read more books by writers of diverse populations and nationalities.
