WW1 Display at Miranda Library

Come and see the WW1 Display at Miranda Library and add details of any WW1 soldiers you have a connection to the display.

The display shows WW1 items library staff have collected over many years, including letters, photographs, postcards, service medals (including a British War medal issued to an Indigenous soldier), a "Mothers' and Widows'" Ribbon (issued to the female next of kin of a soldier killed), badges (including a 'Vote Yes' badge from the 1917 conscription referendum) and MORE!

There is also a brief biography of the 12 soldiers whose items are represented in the display.

Tags are available for visitors to Miranda Library to write the name of a soldier (and any details they may wish to share) with whom they have a connection.
