I never realised the library offered all these publications online- it's great. It's a little hard to find exactly what you're looking for, would love to hear more on what is popular in the database.
Great work, Sutherland. I am going to check my local library to see if I can gain access through them.
As a member of the library staff and as a resident I have been reading online publications that the library subscribes to for some time. It is possible to read the Sydney Morning Herald or many favourite magazines and newspapers on your PC - and now your mobile -while you drink that first cup of coffee (or your favourite morning kick start).
If you are finding it difficult to see exactly what publications you can access, I'd suggest that you try it first on your PC or laptop. This will allow you time to explore and see what is available.
Due to licensing requirements, you have to have a Sutherland Shire library card to access our online resources.
As the interface is designed to access EBSCO products, go to the library website, Find articles, choose Newspaper Articles from the list, then choose Australian and New Zealand Reference Centre. From here choose the publications tab and you will be able to see an alphabetical listing of all the publications available.
On most of the online databases you can only access the text - no photos but it is still a great resource.
As you will see there are many other resources available - leisure reading and articles that can be used for research, school assignments and family history.
